48's EU and UK roaming allowance is getting bigger
From 16 November, 48's €12.99 unlimited plan includes 22GB of EU and UK roaming data, and its €10.99 student plan gets 18GB. Roaming data still stops once the cap is used.
The increase applies to both of 48’s current signup plans: the €12.99 unlimited plan and the €10.99 100GB plan for third-level students. Domestic data allowances stay the same.
On the student plan, the roaming allowance is part of the 100GB, not extra. On both plans, roaming calls and texts count towards the domestic allowance, and data stops when the roaming cap is reached until the next plan or a 1GB add-on.
