- Needs a Virgin Media broadband package, which costs extra. New broadband customers add it at checkout and existing broadband customers add it through My Offers; it cannot be combined with other Virgin Media broadband or mobile offers. 4G only, with no 5G. The terms prohibit tethering or using the SIM as a hotspot. Unlimited data is subject to the Acceptable Usage Policy, which lets Virgin Media slow or suspend abnormally heavy use. EU roaming covers the UK, with unlimited calls and texts there; it is meant for periodic travel and surcharges apply above the data allowance. Up to six SIMs per account. Early cancellation costs the remaining monthly charges; after 12 months, cancelling needs 30 days' written notice.
